Wildfarm Homestead is a working off-grid farm 25 minutes from George CBD, up on the ridge above Wilderness. Every November and December we host year-end functions of up to 120 people — staff parties, team celebrations and Christmas functions for companies all over the Garden Route. From R5,000 venue hire, food from R320 a head (or bring your own caterer for free), music until 2am, and rooms on site so nobody has to drive home after the speeches.

Stay over and the venue gets cheaper. When your group books the accommodation as part of the function, your venue rate comes down — and nobody has to organise lifts home at midnight. Tell us how many are staying and we’ll build it into the quote.
What the venue hire includes
Your venue fee covers the farm for your booked time:
- The deck, the bar area and its pool table, the lawn and the lookout deck
- The whole farm as your backdrop — 360° views over the Wilderness valley
- Solar power, so no load-shedding — the lights, music and fridges stay on all night
- A cash bar on site, so nobody drives out for drinks
- Space and seating for up to 120 guests
- Bringing your own caterer, food and decor at no charge
- Access during the day to set up before your guests arrive (arrange it with us when you book)
Quoted separately because you choose them: food from our kitchen at R320 per person, accommodation at R350 per person, the marquee tent at R2,500 and the sound system at R2,500. Nothing else is added afterwards — the number we quote you is the number you pay.
What we can’t promise on this page: if your booking needs a deposit schedule, an invoice for your finance team, specific accessibility arrangements or anything written into a supplier contract, tell us on the form. That gets answered by a person, not by a price table.
How the day usually runs
- Mid-afternoon — the team arrives, settles into rooms, swims, and the bar opens on the deck.
- Late afternoon — lawn games, photos on the lookout deck, or your own activities.
- Evening — pizzas or a plated spread from our kitchen, speeches, awards, whatever you’ve planned.
- Music till 2am — our sound system, or the DJ you bring.
- Morning — coffee on the deck and breakfast before everyone drives back to George.

Frequently asked questions about year-end functions
How many people can you take?
Up to 120. Smaller teams are welcome — a 20-person function on the deck works nicely.
Can we bring our own drinks?
There’s a cash bar on the farm, which keeps it simple and legal. Tell us what your team drinks and we’ll make sure the bar is stocked.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes, at no charge. Plenty of companies bring their own braai master or caterer. If you’d rather not think about it, we cook — pizzas or a plated spread at R320 per head.
Can we play music and dance?
Music until 2am. Hire our sound system for R2,500 or bring your own.
Is there somewhere to sleep?
Yes — rooms on site at R350 per person, and taking them lowers your venue rate. Teams who stay over always have the better party.
What if it rains?
We put up the marquee tent (R2,500), which seats and covers all 120 of you.
Do you do midweek functions?
Yes. Midweek is often easier to get the date you want, and quieter on the farm.
