Who we are
Wildfarm Homestead is a family-run, off-grid backpackers on the Garden Route, sitting above Wilderness with views of the Outeniqua Mountains, lakes and the Indian Ocean. We’ve hosted travellers for years — and we’re still the kind of place where the dogs greet you first and the kettle’s always on.
We run on solar power, keep free-range chickens, and live the slow, wild life we invite you to share. The best way to understand us? Visit the homestead and read our story.
Why stay with us
- Rooms & accommodation — cottages, treehouse retreats, glamping and wilderness cabins
- Venue hire — weddings, functions and groups with a view
- Contractor accommodation — weekly & monthly rates for work crews
- No load-shedding, free breakfast from 8am, wood-fired pizza bar and sunset deck
Where we are
Wilderness sits between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the Garden Route — 30km+ of coastline, the Garden Route National Park on the doorstep, and day trips to Knysna, Sedgefield and Mossel Bay. See things to do in Wilderness or browse the gallery.
